Family Co-Creating Parent & Me

Sometimes we paint pictures. And sometimes… we paint relationships. Parent & Me Creations Workshops are not ONLY about painting together and having fun. They are a time of bonding, a lesson in relationships, patience, acceptance, and the art of creating memories. It’s also a space for creativity, mindfulness, and imagination to flow freely. A space where art becomes a language of relationship between you and your child.

For you, dear parent, it’s a practice in being a guide. A role that isn’t always easy, yet deeply meaningful and beautiful.
It asks for patience, openness, and LOVE. A love that doesn’t control, but walks beside and supports.

For your child, it’s freedom to express themselves, to create in their own way, while practicing presence and awareness of others.

Each workshop is an invitation to mindfulness, to being present with ourselves and with one another. I share a project idea, demonstrate a few techniques and steps, and then… I let go. Everyone is free to create in their own way. I don’t correct. I don’t interfere. But when someone asks - I’m there with gentle guidance. Because here, everyone has the right to their own vision.

This is where true art is born - the art of relationship. With each session, I witness more freedom, more trust, more joy in the creation… and in each other.

My heart fills with warmth watching these beautiful transformations, seeing each person paint their life in their own colors.

Who is it for?

• For parents and loving adults, eg. grandparents, aunties, uncles…

• For children ages 7-13 (younger or older siblings welcome*)

• For anyone who simply wants to be together - in creativity, closeness, and mindfulness

Time, location, pricing

Public group workshops take place in a cozy studio in Crystal Lake, IL, designed to nurture creativity and connection.

Private sessions can be held in my Crystal Lake studio or, if you prefer, I can come to your space (home, school, preschool, company). Because the art of connection can happen anywhere - where there is heart, presence, and a desire to truly be together.

How do we create together?

Public group workshops (in-person):

• I guide you step by step, but you have full freedom in how you bring it to life

• I show techniques, ideas, ways to express yourself through art

• You and your child will each paint part of a shared piece - each on your own canvas, yet when placed together, they will form one beautiful whole.

• Sometimes we laugh and dance, sometimes we sit in silence, sometimes we chat - everything is welcome.

• Each workshop is a new project and a new lesson in connection, creativity, openness.

Private family sessions (by request):

• For families who want a fully private creative experience

• Beautiful for mother–daughter, father–son, siblings, grandparents & grandchildren

• Projects adjusted to ages and number of participants

• Also perfect as a gift, birthday activity or a mindful weekend experience together.

Because these workshops are not just about painting pictures; they’re about painting life itself. About giving yourself permission to create, explore, and learn that there’s no single “right” way. Every way is a good way, it just brings different results. And the choice always belongs to you and your child. And here, in this safe space, you can practice that together.
