I’m sorry if I sometimes clip your wings

I’m sorry if I sometimes clip your wings

I clip them through my

Inattentiveness

Ignorance

Exhaustion

Fear

Overprotectiveness

Traumas

Imposed patterns…

I don’t know how to do it differently
I act the best way I can

Always with love, but…

But even love needs
Learning
Awareness
Rest
Self care
Checking if these patterns are truly IN HARMONY WITH ME

Or maybe love ESPECIALLY needs all of these things

Love for yourself, for your child, for your partner, for the world

I write this to you
I write it to myself too
Because I’m learning this love every day
Sometimes clumsily, but always truly
If you’d like, we can learn together
Step by step
In harmony
Would you like to?

In this poem, it’s not about harshness or blame - quite the opposite. It’s about gentleness, pausing, and catching the moment of reflection. Instead of pretending that everything is fine, we choose to look deeper and tend to what is asking to be cared for. To tend, perhaps, to exhaustion. Perhaps to fear. Perhaps to not knowing. Or perhaps to something… even deeper.

Sometimes we only start learning love when we finally see how easily, out of fear, exhaustion or ignorance, we can clip someone’s wings.

And sometimes… our own.

That’s when we begin to understand that love doesn’t ask for perfection.
It asks for presence, awareness, and acceptance.

Because wings grow or grow back, when we give ourselves space.
For rest. For the lesson. For a breath.

When I was writing this poem, I wanted to remind you that gentleness and self-care are not weakness. They are an act of courage, a choice to come closer to yourself. To keep filling your inner cup. Because you can’t pour from an empty one. Not into yourself, not into your child, not into the world.

And this is what I’m inviting you to.

Step by step.

In harmony.

Stay with me on this journey into more tenderness, awareness, and harmony.

Hugs,
